MSR/Cascade Designs has alerted Spelean to a potential burn or scald hazard on certain MSR® Trail Lite™ and Reactor® camping cooking pots, sold individually and as part of sets, including Trail Lite cook sets, PocketRocket® cook kits, and Reactor stove systems between January 2008 and February 2024.
Some MSR cook pot handles can become loose or disengaged, potentially spilling contents, including hot liquids, and creating a burn hazard.

Affected consumers in Australia should immediately stop using the listed camping cooking pot(s) and contact Spelean Pty Ltd via this LINK for a free replacement pot handle/lifter that is compatible with the affected pot. The replacement pot handle/lifter is secure, easy to use and does not require tools.
Please do not attempt to return products in store. All replacements for this Alert will be processed online.
For consumers who purchased a listed camping cooking pot or stove system(s) from an AUSTRALIAN based retailer, a refund of the purchase price is offered. This offer does NOT apply for purchases made outside Australia, and so beyond the jurisdiction of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Documentation to support the proof of purchase is required. Use this Form LINK only if you purchased a listed camping cooking pot or stove system(s) from an authorised Australian retailer and would prefer a refund to the free replacement pot handle/lifter.
