Petzl NEWTON Harness Recall

RECALL OF NEWTON, NEWTON FAST, AND NEWTON EASYFIT HARNESSES - EUROPEAN VERSIONS.

Petzl is recalling certain harnesses in the NEWTON European Version range manufactured in 2022. Full details at the Petzl Recall Notice page.

Petzl is recalling these harnesses due to a nonconforming batch of FAST LT buckles that could lead to a fatal fall. Only certain harnesses from the NEWTON European Version range, manufactured in 2022, are affected by this recall.

Petzl has identified specific batches that are affected by this recall, please check to see if your harness matches the list of affected batches. The 10-digit series in the blue box corresponds to the batch number. 

Petzl ask that you:

1. Immediately stop all use and sale of harnesses in the NEWTON European Version range.

2. Read the Safety Alert below to determine whether your harness is affected by this recall.

3. If you're a reseller: Immediately relay this recall to all customers that ordered harnesses affected by this recall.
